Derek Proudian, CEO
Howard Earhart, Chairman and CEO

Howard Earhart was formerly the Chairman and CEO of Power Integrations (POWI), an analog semiconductor company which now has $300 million in revenue and a $1.0 billion market cap. Power Integrations currently sells over one billion components per year to the consumer electronics industry. Howard was previously the CEO of Lin Data (a thin film disk manufacturer), and Amcodyne (a hybrid disk storage manufacturer). Earlier, he served as president of Information Magnetics and as president of the Consumer Products group at Memorex. Howard began his career as a development engineer at Eastman Kodak. He graduated with a B.S. in Engineering from Clarkson University. In addition to his responsibilities at LensVector, Howard is also a board member at Sandel Avionics, a supplier of advanced avionics display systems.

Derek Proudian, Board Member

Derek Proudian brings 25 years of high-tech finance, marketing and engineering leadership to LensVector. Proudian has served as the CEO of five venture-capital backed startups, including Zip2, which was acquired by Compaq for $300 million. Previously Proudian was a general partner at the venture capital firm Mohr Davidow Ventures, and an engineering manager with Hewlett-Packard. He has over 10 years experience in the mobile industry, and serves on the Board of Directors of mSpot and SquareTrade. Proudian holds master's degrees in business and computer science from Stanford University and holds three U.S. patents.

John joined Menlo Ventures in 1985. Over the past 24 years, he has led Menlo's investments in more than 40 portfolio companies, primarily in the communications, storage, semiconductor, Internet and financial technology sectors. His recent investments and board seats include: Aprius, Avere Systems,Coraid, Credit Sesame, DataXu, Librato, MobiTV, ParAccel, Parascale,PowerReviews and Zimbio. John was a lead venture investor in the following public companies that achieved successful initial public offerings: Ascend Communications (ASND, now part of Lucent), Cavium Networks (CAVM), Digital Insight (DGIN), FaxSav (EASY), iBasis (IBAS), SpectraLink (SLNK), Syntellect (SXNT, now part of Enghouse Systems) and UUNET Technologies (UUNT, now part of Verizon). John is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering) and the Stanford University Graduate School of Business (M.B.A.). He is a trustee of the Corporation of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the former chairman of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Management Board.

Norm earned an engineering degree from Stanford, and an MBA /JD from Harvard.
